There are three scholarship eligibility categories, listed below. We encourage all college, vocational and business school students as well as high school students to apply!
Application deadline: All applications for the 2010/2011 fiscal year must be received by June 30, 2011.

Eligibility Catagories:
WCEF Scholarship Category I
College Freshman: Any individual entering as a freshman in a college, vocational or business school is eligible to apply. Applicants must have completed high school with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must carry at least 12 units per quarter/semester for the year that the scholarship is in effect.
To apply, please submit a completed application form, a current photo, a 300 word essay explaining why you wish to receive a scholarship and two letters of recommendation (family members excluded).
WCEF Scholarship Category II
Continuing Students: Any individual currently enrolled in a college, vocational or business school is eligible to apply. Applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 to be considered and must carry at least 12 units per quarter/semester for the year the scholarship is in effect.
Scholarship recipients must also send WCEF a grade report at the end of each quarter/semester along with a statement of progress.
To apply, please submit a completed application form, a current photo, a 300 word essay explaining why you wish to receive a scholarship and two letters of recommendation (family members excluded).
WCEF Scholarship Category III: Horsemanship
High School Students: Open to all High School Students (freshmen to seniors) that have shown/ridden in an event at the Murieta Equestrian Center during the 2010/2011 show season. Students must also have a current grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
To apply, please submit a completed application, a current photo, a 300 word essay explaining why you wish to receive a scholarship, proof of your grade point average and two letters of recommendation (family members excluded).
